Sneak Peek: Assets And Code

Here are a few shots from the next video "Could This Asset Be Code?". Finishing the script turned out to be more difficult than I expected. I ended up rewriting the whole thing. But I'm now halfway through the animation so the video will be out next week.

I've been making those ever since I started using Motion Canvas. While extremely rough, they let me figure out which components should be made reusable. So I spend a bit more time making them generic when I first have to use them, and then any subsequent scenes they appear in become much faster.

Thanks for sharing the storyboard, Jacob! This process is fascinating to me and I would love to see more of your workflow when it comes to Motion Canvas. A video or even a blog post going into more depth about how you outline all the scenes, how you decide how generic different elements should be, best practices you've developed for yourself along the way, etc. would be extremely valuable for myself and the MC community I'm sure :)
