Carlie lady I'm with you I loooooved every moment of that Garp beat down from Dadan. He deserved it and much more and this is coming from a Garp lover. Yes there is nuance and all but ultimately when it comes down to it as Dadan said Garp chose his job over his family. You can argue nuance but it doesn't change that he made his choice. Also nice to see Ange give Jinbei the respect he deserves coz he doesn't seemed to like him that much. Loving the reactions lovely couple looking forward to what is to come.

A marine hero saving the son of the pirate king while countless marines are being killed by pirates will cause a bigger problem than just losing his job. HOWEVER... I do think there were many ways he could help without himself being exposed to the public.
