Luffy was brought up with Garp "training" him and I wonder if it meant Luffy already inherently had the capability to use the Six Powers abilities before he came across them with CP9!

Not just the early reveal that he's Luffy's grandfather, but his character was just so off. Especially that one scene where he was like manically laughing while rage smashing his office was SO WEIRD. He's like one of the most laid-back marines in the series. He hates taking orders, avoids trying to capture Luffy as much as possible. Just so wildly different to the anime/manga version. Not even gonna bother watching the 2nd season, afraid of what else they'll butcher. There's more, but I don't want to spoil anything so I'll end it at that.
