You can have an MVP on a losing side, it just doesn't happen as often. Momo has MVP in my heart, but I respect the Kendo pick.

Either way, hope you get this! Regardless of condition of the host, the simple fact is, the human neural system is far too advanced for a fungus to infect it to the point of manipulating it. Cordyceps infects small, simple insects, because there's nothing to them, pretty much "stimulus? response!" Even if the human core temp dropped to sustainable levels for Cordyceps, our biology is simply too complex for it to do anything grandiose. I'd expect typical symptoms similar to other fungal infections, if it did ever get to that point.

Kuroiro also just used misdirection to trap Aoyama. That level of dirty play is fair game in this imo. They should be thinking of doing that in a real villain situation.

I've also heard that real life human body temperature is dropping by 0.5 degrees every generation due to less bodily inflammation as a whole. To what extent do you think it's plausible that a fungus such as cordyceps could inhabit the human body and would there really be no countermeasure or immunization against it?

Also add the fact of her unmatched physicals she had better feats imo. But yeah everyone did great~ I feel like a proud mother seeing my children grow up lol tokoyami was such a badass

Kendo team won, so her strategy was just more sound. Also Kiri is very strong and he got taken out very fast. I also didnt like Shroom’s end because this battle felt like they wanted B to have a win w/o making A look bad which in terms makes B look bad, since it seems like Dark Shadow would have straight up 1v4 them himself. Wished they got a clean win here cause now if A wins, it seems more like business than a competitive fight. Which is why I didnt like this arc this much.

Her forward thinking and parallel processing are just next level in this episode. No disrespect to Kendo - her plan was great - Momo just went the extra step imo. And as much as you hate Monoma, his commentary was right in this episode - if this had been real villains and not classmates, he would have knocked out his opponent that first chance he got. So in a real-life scenario, Momo's plan would have succeeded.

2025-02-26 20:24:10 +0000 UTCMomo is truly incredible, when you remember that she has to know the molecular composition for the things she creates, and she simultaneously was creating a canon, the tungsten shields, the good bag and the things inside it. Truly incredible! That said, I do think Kendo wins MVP for ep 6, she truly held her best against Momo who was intellectually better than her which wins her that spot imo. I love Aoyama and Tohru's (invisible girl) silliness, their voice actors do such a great job making them the goofballs they are. I love every episode they get to shine (pun intended). Tokoyami was really good, but it was as Monoma said, since this was training he didn't consider knocking the opponents out in precaution, he was just focused on "capturing" them, hence why Kinoko (the mushroom girl) was able to get them in the end. Also it was funny watching you guys hate on Kuroiro (the shadow guy) calling him a villain when that was him acting up and his real personality is more on the shy timid side xDD He's a little cutie, though I can't remember if we'll see more of him later or not lol. Thank you for this double drop. Ange's peacock story was very entertaining. Glad you survived hahaha! Super excited for next week!
