Added 2025-06-30 14:53:59 +0000 UTCI spent a lot of time agonizing over this page, its for sure the one that had the most revisions and alternate texts. Without giving anything away, I think this is the most important page in the story because its the one that has to somehow bridge you into the idea that there is something weird going on. I considered just having the thing happen and then unpacking it after the face but i figured it would be important for both the viewer and also in the realm of like, there being any amount of consent by Colby. The more I think about it, the more I think "oh maybe I should have unfolded the story differently", but it is the way it is so here it is lol
I had a lot of fun painting the last panel, I really like the juxtaposition of lighthearted teehee face into a sort of serious almost threatening one. Anyways it's almost your last chance to stop reading before it gets weird c:

I’ve been following along with this long enough to see this going two ways. And while everyone else is saying “Oh it’s size theft” I just don’t think outright size theft is “weird” enough to have an outright warning of it getting weird. No, I think this is something different. Size theft? Sure, I can agree to it? But the method of size theft? That’s gonna be where the weirdness lies. And frankly, that’s going to be the most fascinating thing to see. Even if I’m pretty sure I know what it’ll be. Also let’s not forget that you remembered to actually have a conversation about what’s unfolding. It’s always nice to see discussions take place before anything kicks off. ESPECIALLY in a situation where it’s like a tutoring themed thing like this.
