I feel like I did parts of this page over and over, it was for sure a struggle. All I can think about is scrambled eggs, the way my brain must look. Yummy!!
I had to decide if I wanted Yvette's internal dialogue present at all in this comic and this was the page that made me realize its like necessary to tell the story. I tried not to think about which character was the protagonist/POV, the reality is that I found myself seeing things from both their perspectives depending on the exact moment. I really wish I could just make a down the middle comic where the characters rail and that's it but it just wouldn't be very interesting to me. So here she is trying to baby step you the reader into what happens next. I hope you like it!
