WAR Plotting Discussion (And Other Things)

So, fun fact, I'm 90% done with the next Greg chapter and the one after that is pretty much done too. Those two will be posted today.

However, I was looking at the plotting for WAR: What is it Good For toward the next two arcs and I'm suddenly reminded I wrote most of this while sick as hell (sleep deprived and malnourished) and while it is hilarious, I really did let the rolls write the plot and whatever Youtube stuff I was watching while half-asleep did not help.

If you know anything about Jujutsu Kaisen, some of that slid into this and also some other things if you watch certain web series on Youtube. I was wondering where Ken's exact voice came from and some of his verbiage, and I realized... "oh, okay..." and then I realized "that's fucking hilarious, I'm gonna keep that in."

My one JJK story "With These Bands I Summon" was inspired by Hood Jujutsu Kaisen (said web series)... which was an insane concept, because one TikTok and a quick binge of the short series set me writing and plotting a whole story.

Back to WAR, being set in Bludhaven and writing Ken as a kid who's used to the streets is an interesting step, because I've never written this sort of voice before; not at length at least for a whole story.

Anyway, WAR has had insane rolls so far and because I'm mostly rolling by achievements, he's had enough so far to pay for all his rolls.

Which is not as perilous as I expected.

We'll see how that lasts.

In other news, Nerd in the North and Massive Disaster are being prepped for updates after I'm done with the last two Greg chapters for today.
