2021-11-18 10:22:44 +0000 UTCi actually have thought quite a bit of this out LMAO. as a lead up, this might be unnecessary, but just for the sake of context, here's my ideas: lets say for whatever reason, the listener's family hasn't met their partner and vice versa. boyfriend invites us to their family gathering, because it's going to be extra big and fancy with more extended family than usual, and it's some long getaway trip. you have to decline because as far as you know, your family gathering is on a similar date!
