Trigun Early Episodes 7 and 8

Interesting piece of trivia ... apparently you're not allowed to have the word g*n in a hashtag, even as part of another word. That feels like an overreaction.

Those two are also my favorites. I know we only have three regular characters to choose from but they're far ahead of Mytle

Yeah that's true

"If he's a kid he can't be a piece of shit because kids aren't responsible for their actions" you say - but what if he's a teenager, a bit too old to be totally not responsible for his actions but not quite old enough to be totally responsible either. Googling his age, the kid is supposed to be 12 (i have no clue where the fan wiki gets that info though >_<) so he's just about in that 'how responsible is he' in between age bracket :I I also agree with you that it's silly when shows try to give backstories to kids who aren't old enough to have them, which anime DOES do all the time; some shows give backstories to 5 year olds backstories, it's so silly! This kid's backstory here is believable though (his dad died? that can happen at any age). It's when the backstory needs the kid in the flashback to do something that it gets stupid.

You're right that "guy working for the villains who switches sides" is usually bad writing, but at least this show used a kid who might (being a kid) have been dumb enough to actually believe the bad guy's "we won't hurt anyone" claims >_<

Interesting theory about the height differences in this show (it seems pretty common for random really tall people to appear in older anime). You probably know that average human height has gone up over time, but maximum height has remained about the same, so in the past (when average height was smaller) our world would've looked more like your theory O_O

I think you were talking and missed the context in which Vash was talking about Millie being scary- as he was purchasing food from them (even though dinner had already been served/eaten as Meryl pointed out), Millie said he "eats like a growing boy," which was eerie since he had purchased that extra food for a young growing boy lol- and so he was remarking on how sharp the two women were- and the "big one" being exceptionally scary, and the only salvation was that she didn't realize how smart she was haha- I flip-flop between Vash being my favorite character in this show, and Millie
