2024-04-16 01:15:26 +0000 UTCAlso, for the teams being a random draw- most of them (at least in class A, the ones we’re most familiar with) ended up being pretty balanced- each team has at least 1 strong fighter, someone who stood out as a “leader” (Tsu/Froppy for the first team, Momo/creation girl for the second, probably Iida for this third team, then Bakugo and Midoriya for the next 2), and a “scout” (except for Midoriya’s team). Imagine if randomly one of the teams had been Midoriya, Bakugo, Icyhot, and Tokoyami/bird head- could anyone have beat them (provided they worked well together lol)?

2024-04-14 22:27:53 +0000 UTCOne thing that recently struck me is that even though Tetsutetsu/steel guy whined about their team not being “balanced,” they were able to get a draw against what I might argue was possibly the most “stacked” team from class A- Iida/Captain America and Shoto/Icyhot being on the same team- with a solid scout in Shoji/dupli arms and Ojiro/tail guy who is actually a decent fighter as well- was a great draw since the teams were random. Tetsu’s determination and quirk, along with Honenuki/mud man’s strategic thinking and smart quirk usage, and even horn girl making the decision at the end just running the clock out- all were working together well enough to give “our” guys a run for their money

2024-04-14 22:19:21 +0000 UTCYou may have missed Mineta/ball head’s ironic line about Monoma- “he’s like a broken record that should be set on fire” lol- because most people would say that about his pervy/creepy comments- and I’d honestly rather listen to and laugh at Monoma than put up with Mineta haha- I agree with you that Mineta is probably the weakest link in class 1A, even if his balls have come in handy more often than invisible girl has done anything that useful- it seems to me like she is just treated as a gag, there is definitely more that could be done with her invisibility, to my knowledge she has never been used as a recon person, even though that is kind of the first use you would think of for invisibility
