Schedule Update

I've had some more setbacks, drains on my time that have been unavoidable, so its been a real struggle to keep to my deadlines lately. Below are the shows and upload dates that will be impacted over the next two weeks.

1) The Watchmen series finale that was supposed to drop yesterday will now drop either Sunday or Monday coming up. Its replacement show, Severance, will premiere next Wed as expected.

2) I still owe you the True Detective Season 4 finale, that will drop next week some time.

3) I was a week late on the last Tier 3 movie so to make that up we'll get movies two Fridays in a row. That will happen on April 12th "Talk to Me" and April 19th "M3gan". I was going to start this tomorrow but I'm pushing it back a week.

4) My Hero Episodes 5-1 and 5-2 will drop on Sat along with Episodes 5-3 and 5-4.

5) The next Paul series "DevilMan Crybaby" will start on Sunday as expected.

6) The next Naruto Super Early Access will drop tomorrow. The next One Piece Super Early Access will drop Sunday.

7) Just an FYI, next week we'll be getting some extra stuff like DC animated movies, Cabin in the Woods, more episodes of Line of Duty, and the movie Descent.

The burnout thing is interesting. I did a complete self examination after Neil Talks burned out 9 months ago. I think people burn out because they can't accept "the facts on the ground." In the military, the facts on the ground dictate all. You can either collapse in a puddle and cry about it or you can deal with it. Period. If the facts on the ground tell me that I can't get the video out today, that its gonna have to be tomorrow, then that's what it is. Being mad doesn't change that. Being sad doesn't change that. Getting depressed doesn't change that. It is what it is, and that's the end of it. I think people obsess over what they can't change instead of coming up with a new plan to deal with the facts on the ground. Neil Talks was doing a video every day of the week. When he got overwhelmed he should have scaled back, maybe cut out the weekends. Instead he let depression take control. That doesn't solve the problem, that just makes it worse. Another thing that leads to burnout is defensiveness. Getting defensive about being late. I'm never going to be defensive because i know in my heart there wasn't a single extra minute I could have devoted to the job that would have made it happen any faster. If you're driving somewhere and get stuck by a passing train that causes you to be ten minutes late, you're not going to be defensive because you know in your heart there was nothing you could do to prevent your tardiness. If the person at your appointment is mad or disappointed, that's just the way it has to be. Because it's not your fault. So I think this, like most things in life, is all in how you look at it. I miss Neil Talks and I wish he could have looked at things in a different light and not succumbed to burnout.

Looking forward to your Cabin in the Woods reaction, but if you need to slow down so you're not to overwhelmed then you have my blessing to push my requests off. The last thing I want is for you to get burned (burnt?) out. I know you'll get to them in due time and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
