There were some small crumbs dropped in the show hinting at the reveal that Shigaraki is related to All MIght's master- I'm pretty sure that Gran Torino had mentioned the name Shimura referring to his friend, the holder of One for All before All Might, and a few episodes ago, there was a flashback scene of Shigaraki as a child, and All for One extending his hand to him and calling him the name "Tenko Shimura," so clues were there- but with so many names, it's hard to remember and put it together on first watch- which just makes the reveal all the better- this was an awesome episode
