There's no reason to think Octavian and Octavia did any brother-sister incest IRL. Given how spicy the real history was, i dunno why HBO felt the need to add this bit of extra Targaryan spice. There's so much cousin-marrying and even uncle-niece marrying in Roman history that their family trees look like spiderwebs, and that isn't even counting all the "rumors" of incest (usually spread by people's enemies) so if HBO absolutely needed incest they could've found some, i dunno why they had to totally make stuff up like this.

2023-03-09 08:26:29 +0000 UTCYeah its not so much pacing for me (for instance, Lost is a MUCH better show in the binge model than week to week, whereas this one seems fine either way) as it is being disoriented not knowing how much time passed between scenes. But it's not a huge deal, just noteworthy

2023-01-18 18:22:27 +0000 UTCi believe this kind of pacing is better if you binge it stuff, i didnt have problems here but had problems with house of the dragon maybe its also the many childs poping up on every skip and changed actors and so on dont know. and its still ~44bc at the time :) Octavians wasn't for no reason the first Roman Emperor the cold ass mofo^^
