In fact, Vera was necessary to speed up this plot arc because it would have never happened this quickly organically. Basically, when the network cancelled the show that made the writers bring back Vera to make this happen.

2021-08-16 15:46:48 +0000 UTCMight be the best episode of TV ever, it's atleast up there. Until recently it held a perfect 10,0/10 rating on IMDB together with Ozymandias from BB. I'm so shocked that Vera played such a big role in this show even though he was only in like 4-5 Episodes. You said it yourself in the beginning of this Episode, when you thought this might be a filler Episode and then THIS happend. There are alot of details that make this reveal so amazing. One that stood out to me the most ist the last scene in finale of the 3rd Season, when Elliot asks Mr.Robot "I Jumped, i wasn't pushed. Did you know that?" And Mr. Robot just looks at him and takes a deep breath.
