2023-05-15 17:02:08 +0000 UTCMy tinfoil hat theory is that August Moon is actually a creation of Demeter. So hear me out. When Mason was comatose Demeter probably sat with him and told him stories. I think August is either a character created by Demeter or his old imaginary friend or something. But there's some connection there.

2023-05-15 15:38:43 +0000 UTCI always love creepy nightmare scenes and this episode is so good! Great use of the vertical scroll! I love the colors (or the lack of colors) it helped at to the dark and creepy feel. I like how his mother tried to save him from the monster in the beginning but then she started to turn into one. I feel like that could be symbolic of his mother trying to shield him from abuse previously (from his father) then being abused and becoming an abuser herself.
