[Closed] Collecting Short Story Prompts for September 2023

I'll take the more popular ones as decided by the number of hearts (or that I particularly like) in the comments and make a poll at the start of the month. The winner will be made into a short story of a thousand or so words.
Not many rules on what you can suggest at the moment. That will mostly be figured out as we go. Besides that, the short story will come out before the end of the next month.
Rules for prompts:
- No NSFW (Patreon would get testy about that)
- No prompts about anything directly related to my current stories (can't be something the MCs would come across)
- Not doing depression or similar

Story Prompt: The Good Ol' Days A story about a group of old geriatrics deciding to delve a Dungeon for old times sake, showing how they've still got it. "You young'uns and your teleportal thingamajigs have it too easy. Why, back in my day we had to WALK through the Dungeon, and it was uphill, BOTH WAYS!!! Dungeon thought it was being real clever, I tell you what!"

Unlikely, according to the spies, the Hero seems to still be active, but doing very perplexing things. The latest report claims that the Hero took on a courier job to deliver 10 apples. Is this some kind of joke? Am I, the Demon King, that far beneath your notice?!"

Someone made some minor deal with a fae along the lines of I give you food as long as I live and you give my family protection from other Faes mischief. Then over the next millennia the meaning of the words of the deal changes and now the fae has to protect them from aging, illnesses and violent death. Or something similar. And thanks for your hard work
