[Closed] Collecting Short Story Prompts for August 2022

Once again I'm here to ask all of you for short story prompts! I'll take the more popular ones as decided by the number of hearts (or that I particularly like) in the comments and make a poll at the start of the month. The winner will be made into a short story of a thousand or so words.
Not many rules on what you can suggest at the moment. That will mostly be figured out as we go. Besides that, the short story will come out before the end of the next month.
Rules for prompts:
- No NSFW (Patreon would get testy about that)
- No prompts about anything directly related to my current stories (can't be something the MCs would come across)
- Not doing depression or similar

2022-08-03 05:31:32 +0000 UTCOh yeah, that can be real good to read, with the contrast with the guards who dont give a shit and exchange little thing betwen them (a beer or some small talk, expressif glance) And the Merchant who are sweating bucked in tension and are glaring themselve into the eye of each other and lauching attack and defense move and thinking of the repercussion of it :) And the guard (who are good friend of the merchand or have long relationship and understanding of each other) at the end when they leave who ask "So how did it go?" or some "he.. no matter and srung his shoulder" :)

Some time has past and a new demon king came and with him a new hero. the problem is the new hero got to much power from gods and a demon king will be a breaze. So instead of the old hero training the new hero he goes to train the Demon king or maybe be the hidden last boss after the demon king is deafeated. -*Optional:(maybe the heroes have slight mental influence until they defeat the demon king or they are pure tool of the gods and the old hero broke those for himself)

Whole races form from these Skill Evolutions, elemental skills create golems and sprites, beast skills (claws, wings, teeth, etc.) create were-species and beast kin, and what have you. Many years later a stable society has formed from the wreckage, and the newest generation of evolutions is about to be awakened.

Each kingdom sends their Merchant's Guild Master as representitives along with specialist advisors and guards. As far as the guards are concerned, its a rather boring affair. For the merchants though, it is a back and forth battle of Skills like [Logistics], [Foresight], [Cost vs Gain], [Barter], [Detect Falsehood], [Sense Motive], etc.
