[Closed] Collecting Short Story Prompts for May 2022

Once again I'm here to ask all of you for short story prompts! I'll take the more popular ones as decided by the number of hearts (or that I particularly like) in the comments and make a poll at the start of the month. The winner will be made into a short story of a thousand or so words.

Not many rules on what you can suggest at the moment. That will mostly be figured out as we go. Besides that, the short story will come out before the end of the next month.

Rules for prompts:

I actually read a story where the main character has something similar. Most of the time they are just really lucky, what with being the god of luck's Appointed, but when the god of luck descends on them, well, they have all the luck. Still, while enjoy the story, it does focus more on the rare loot aspect of it basically 99% of the time so a short story purely focused on having absolute luck would be interesting. Anyway, the story is called The Outlands: https://www.scribblehub.com/series/150308/the-outlands/

Akhier Dragonheart

Wizard duel.

I had a lot of fun thinking of this one, the idea came to me because stories involving Luck stats tend to just use them as a plot device to get rare loot / crits, but then I thought, how far can the concept of Luck go? What does the absolute maximum Luck look like?

Story Prompt: Impossibly Lucky What if we had a System where the Creater forgot to patch out Underflow errors? "...He really shoudve known better. Someone like him with the lowest Luck stat possible, 1, finally getting an item drop from a dungeon boss? Sigh, he really lost himself and didnt check what it was before equipping it. A [Cursed Ring of Misfortune: Luck -2]? Really??? Sigh, might as well pull up the Status screen and see what it did. Still, -2 to Luck 1? What does negative Luck even do?" [Luck: 340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,455] "... ... ...eh?"
