I was curious what exactly was the plot going forward - their original plan was now exposed (Rex is stil in the dark about that), Kim was off looking for sugar daddies, and Rex was growing disenchanted with Kim. This did not feel like we were heading towards a romantic ending. Which still may be true - the idea I get here is that Rex has now fallen into devious Kim trap, Kim acting just like Daniel did. Kim does not seem to have (or maybe acknowledge) feelings for Rex - she sees him as a mark. Matbe that will change - Rex can no longer act as the kindly big brother character. That seems to be part of Kim 's plan, but we'll see how that works for her. It seems like Kim has a very hard outer armor protecting against vulnerability - Rex briefly broke that by taking Daniel in, but Kim resurrected it. Can Rex do it again?
