Some things I want to show and other stuff
Added 2019-07-05 05:39:07 +0000 UTCHi,
I hope my posts don't bother you too much. I'm not sure how often I should make posts like these or even at all, but I think you want to know what I've been working on so far... or maybe not :).
Anyway I plan to make this my biggest update yet, with lots of new animations.
So it will take a little bit longer than usual and after that I wan't to make a vote if you want more frequent smaller updates or larger ones(like this) in general.
But besides all that I want to make some gameplay changes.. or actually hold a vote to see what you think about it.
Right now when you're using your powers, you are basically done and the memory gets overwritten, but I think it would be cooler that you have to choose what will be put in.

I also added a bar that fills up every time you use your power. Right now if you fill it up completely it will lead to a game-over(which I don't like personally), but will be corrected when the end part of the game is ready.
And even though I don't post a lot of update news I'm really thankful for everyone that is still a patron and trusting in me. I hope that the update will be good enough for the long wait and I hope I won't dissapoint you. I'll try my best to make it the best game I can.
if you have any questions, feel free to ask me on discord(That is where I spend most of my time) unless it's a "when is the next update" question. I don't have an answer for this, sorry.
As soon as the update is ready I'll send it your way :)
I also thought about streaming what I work on, but I'm not sure if that would be interesting at all.
So I'm not sure if anyone would even care. But I'll add an option to the poll if there is any interest at all. I would like stream everything I think would be a bit interesting at least to watch and talk what I'm doing while working on it (so not one of those "playing music in the background while working on it and not talking" streams.)
But I would do that after I get a new amd cpu, because I want to make my work station a bit faster. 4 cores are not enough anymore :(

I think a few game updates a month would be great, would keep the community invested in the project and would allow you to get quick feedback on anything that isn't 100%. An update post once a week or more would also give confidence to the supporters knowing the game is still receiving active and dedicated work. Maybe instead of ending the game once the corruption bar is full make it more risky to use as it fills up. So when its almost full you need a very strong bond to make it work. Maybe also add an action to lower the bar (sleeping, taking a type of medicine, or anything)

2019-07-10 19:30:52 +0000 UTCI think it's a good idea to have posts on here as frequently as you can. Nobody is gonna get upset if you over-share. Everyone is here because they're interested. I wouldn't expect a post everyday or every week or whatever, but you shouldn't feel worried about posts bothering people.

2019-07-05 19:44:31 +0000 UTCI agree with more updates if possible. They don't all have to be huge. It can be something as simple as "Hey everyone, still working hard on so & so a thing. But I am still here." As a patron, more posts help me know that a content creator is still actively involved in a project, which, in turn, encourages me to continue being a patron. There, also, doesn't need to be a ton of updates throughout the month. Just more than one, would be helpful, and reassuring. As always, thanks for the update, and your hard work.
