"How powerful is this incantation?!" The girl thought to herself as she grabbed at her growing belly. It didn't feel like it was slowing down, on the contrary, she felt the sensation in her body grow.

She thought about calling for help, or searching for some way to stop the spell, but the more that the sensation grew, the more her mind filled with a similar haze. Plus, even if she could think of something to do, the pulsing feeling in her legs surely wouldn't let her move them very fast, if at all.

*Pop* *Pop* the two bottom buttons holding her shirt together around her belly went flying in between the books on the shelf. Shortly after, her bra snapped in the center, slid down her back and onto the floor.

The wardrobe adjustment snapped clarity into the girl's mind: If she grew any more she'd be totally exposed in the middle of this store. Being a law abiding citizen, her panic grew along with her body.

Just as she had this realization however, the final three buttons on her shirt lost their fight and as her arms strained against the fabric of her sleeves the girl had a choice to make: Abandon the shirt, or deal with the constricting pain until the tensile strength of the fabric inevitably gave way to her increasing bulk. The girl chose the former.

She dropped her shirt to the floor and felt her balance shift. She caught herself on the bookshelf in front of her, which shook in response. It was at this point that the girl took stock of her situation once again: She was shirtless, in an aisle of a magic store, at least triple the size that she was only minutes ago.

Her fear that somebody might walk down the connecting aisle and see her quickly became a hope. Maybe if somebody saw her like this they could help her! Despite this hope, she still couldn't bring herself to cry out for help. The shame alone stayed her voice. After all, she wasn't sure she'd ever seen a woman as fat as she was now.

It was at this point that the shop owner happened to walk by...
