Added 2024-09-26 15:29:12 +0000 UTCI have largely been ignoring the weather bc my face has been in a computer screen doing pod stuff, but just realizing that this hurricane Helene is kind of a big deal? My parent’s house in Houston lost power A WEEK this summer due to a hurricane and they lost ALL THEIR TREES! They are still burning trees trying to get rid of debris. I hope the horses are ok. I don’t know how bad Atlanta will get it ( I’m assuming Florida will take one for the team ) but judging by the fact that it’s been raining nonstop since yesterday and I already lost power 2x I feel like something haunted might happen.
Eeeeee. Anyone else getting a bit excited? We used to always chase the tornadoes in Oklahoma- or at least watch out on the porch if we had a good view. But hurricanes are scary! I understand that this reads like the diary entry of a 12 year old girl >.<
