Added 2017-02-01 17:39:45 +0000 UTCThanks to everyone that maintained their pledge even though my computer is completely busted right now and I can't post or render any actual content, I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to either the motherboard or the power supply that's the cause, though I would still probably want to take it in to a computer place to have them check it out and tell me exactly what parts are just completely fucked and need to be replaced, I'm going to to my best to start looking for shop around town that I can have them take a look at
It's been a while since I've had to do this with a desktop, usually it's laptops that have a tendency to fuck up and usually I bring them to a laptop specialty store so I can't really take my desktop to the same places as I did laptops.
I was really excited about getting a second GPU in my computer but after this I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it this month, depending on a few circumstances. Hopefully I will be able to however, it would be nice to come back from this with a better rendering machine than I did before
I have a lot of things to work on and I can't, and it's been frustrating me these past few days that I couldn't even take it in to a shop because I only had $10.20 left over, I had to borrow my sisters' ten year old laptop to even withdraw funds from patreon this month(and post this) because the mobile app doesn't have payout, so I have to wait until tomorrow before the funds even hit now and then I should be able to take it into a shop soon to have it looked at

Probably not, when I switched mobos last time it was just a swap job. It booted up just fine with no problems with the OS

2017-02-04 13:44:17 +0000 UTCdam if its the mobo its going to be a PAIN. since you will have to to get another mobo that matches your cpu and then call microsoft to reauthenticate your windows OS.

2017-02-03 06:43:08 +0000 UTCThe power supply was a seasonic 650rt I'm pretty sure it was my fault, nothing was straining or having any problems whatsoever the previous night

2017-02-02 15:40:50 +0000 UTCmy guess is the power supply. the new GPU probably pushed a crappy power supply into its grave. if it is the powersupply you should invest in a more reliable quality one.
