No game update this month

- But I am making progress. I've made grass props and found a good way to implement them. This method also allows them to be batched thus we're keeping good performance while playing. I also experimented with several terrain systems and in the end found one that works for me. I will not be needing it all the time but when the player is in an outside area I think it will work well. I've made cliffs/rock models to quickly block and wall off areas. They are large and low poly but together with the normal maps are 'good enough' I think.

There are still a lot of items left on the todo list. This month was rough in the beginning. There was a lot that I had to take care of and cost me a lot of time. I've already worked on some of these but they are not finished so I'm moving them to next month. Still on the list are:

- A jump mechanic for some platforming

- The first object Lyana can interact with (a mysterious wooden horse). This will come back several times in the game to re-use animations and each time it will be a bit more severe/harder.

- A new transformation visual and sound effect (instead of popping in/out different outfits and states).

It's not a long list but all of them are important to shape the game into a better state.

That was it for this month! Sorry peeps but the images is what people signed up for so I'm trying to balance out the workload. I first wanted to create a demo of the island but decided to save it for next update in order to give myself some more time for the images. Have a good day and take care! <3

Don't expect too much! I'm just a one man army as you said... The game will have areas that will be bad no matter what. I'll do my best though but still, don't expect too much! :P

nah, if you ask me, stick to the full package, i don't want to play another mediocre half backed game, I want to be blown away, so please BLOW ME AWAY!:D

I mean I could speed things up... go with less textures/animations/block everything out in grey. This has been proven as a faster method but I don't think this will do any good for devlogs/alpha releases. I think an A to Z approach is better where I take the players on the journey with me as I keep working on it and they give their feedback at the same time. The beginning will be a lot slower considering how much there is to learn and set up. At some point however, since the systems are up and running, it's just about adding content and polishing things up so I'm hoping to create more and new additions in a faster pace.

well, developing a Game as a "One-Man-Army", is not an easy task!:P But Progress is Progress!:P
