Alright, time to spit the truth.
The last Lyana Frostburn comic was a way for me to work on 3d models and get to know the Godot game engine. That is why I spent so much time on the background props. Because they had to be game ready.
Sadly, since the comic was cut short, my time to create more models was also cut away and I worked with the props I had so far. I still have the dungeon assets but that is something for another alpha version.
The past 2 weeks I worked very hard to get this alpha to a playable state, fixing some of the nasty bugs I encountered. There are OBVIOUSLY still a lot of things not in place and it still needs a lot of work (Facial animations/shapekeys to correct certain body parts). The reason I haven't talked about this before was because the previous game didn't end well. This time, I aimed for a much smaller project able to give people something to play in a much shorter development time.
The game contains 2 outfits and YOU will need to find the second one by clicking on everything that you can find.
I would like to know:
- Does the game run well on your system?
- What do you think of the controls?
- Is the game graphically appealing enough for this type of stuff?
- Any other feedback regarding the game is welcome (I am aware that the hot spring is empty and you can walk over it...) :P
For the record: This game was made in Godot so I had to start over completely.
The first version is available for all tiers. Find it in the dropbox folder!
