Game alpha release 24.07.001

Alright, time to spit the truth.

The last Lyana Frostburn comic was a way for me to work on 3d models and get to know the Godot game engine. That is why I spent so much time on the background props. Because they had to be game ready.

Sadly, since the comic was cut short, my time to create more models was also cut away and I worked with the props I had so far. I still have the dungeon assets but that is something for another alpha version.

The past 2 weeks I worked very hard to get this alpha to a playable state, fixing some of the nasty bugs I encountered. There are OBVIOUSLY still a lot of things not in place and it still needs a lot of work (Facial animations/shapekeys to correct certain body parts). The reason I haven't talked about this before was because the previous game didn't end well. This time, I aimed for a much smaller project able to give people something to play in a much shorter development time.

The game contains 2 outfits and YOU will need to find the second one by clicking on everything that you can find.

I would like to know:

- Does the game run well on your system?

- What do you think of the controls?

- Is the game graphically appealing enough for this type of stuff?

- Any other feedback regarding the game is welcome (I am aware that the hot spring is empty and you can walk over it...) :P

For the record: This game was made in Godot so I had to start over completely.

The first version is available for all tiers. Find it in the dropbox folder!

:D Happy to read you like it! I'm making it easier to find objects by changing the mouse cursor whenever you hover over something that you can interact with. This should make it much more enjoyable to play the game.

i thought, it was a chandelier XD it worked and it looks very, very nice!

There is 1 object that you can click right now and it will change your outfit into something kinky. If you haven't found it yet here's a hint: It's inside the house. (Might need to click a few times, I found out the hitbox isn't perfect and I will update it in the next version).

Lerra22

Did you place any Items in there yet? i cant find any it runs good and stable, the controlls are a bit unusual but working good, once you get used to them the graphics looks nice, so does the charackter model

I initially had the camera rotating with the character movement. However, this prevented the player from looking at the character when she was moving (I have jiggle physics scripts but not implemented yet). I figured it would make sense this way since you can move and 'search/click' items around you while moving. I also thought the camera would be less trippy/annoying in some cases instead of constantly zooming in and out while moving or turning with walls in the area. Just to be clear: You would've liked it more if the camera stayed behind the character the whole time?

Lerra22

After playing it for a bit it's a fine for a first build as it first and foremost works. My computer is a little on the higher end so I can't really tell if runs well on lower systems. In terms of the graphics they match your style ;) and in terms on controls it might be worth looking into the wasd being orientated with the camera. It's still usable though but might take some getting used to.

I have the model done already. I still need to implement it however. I'll try to get it in before the next update.

really love it so far would love to find a gag to be even more helpless lol

It's not the same game as before. The first game was much larger/rpg like and the view was top down (unity engine). This one is more like a puzzle/mystery solver and progress further when you solve the puzzle (Godot). I'm happy how this turned out even though it is small right now. It's still alpha after all. I'm eager to add more content and see what it will become in the future.

It's really nice to see you didn't give up on this. Happy for you.
