Status update page 3 and future comic ramble
Added 2024-04-06 12:35:23 +0000 UTCPage 3 is almost finished. Later today I'm celebrating my mother's birthday so I won't have a lot of time on my hands to work on it. Might finish it this evening but most likely tomorrow.

I noticed a large drop in subscribers on fanbox and the reason for it is unclear to me. Especially because subscribestar and deviantart don't show the same drop. I think it's because of 3 things:
1: Fanbox doesn't allow users to use paypal anymore (which will naturally cause people to drop off)
2: The first few pages of the new comic are introduction/getting to the good parts. Hence no kinky bondage images.
3: I work too slow and a comic type like the one I'm doing right now might not be suited for me.
The sudden drop of the past 2 months has me questioning if I should continue down this path or instead work on something else. Especially since I don't know the reason for why it is happening. For now, I think it's best to continue the comic with the same quality as before.
However, if after the coming month there's no change I have 3 ways to deal with it:
1: Obviously stop working on it and move on to something else.
2: Finish the comic with a much faster (and much sloppier) art style.
3: Stop giving the comic out for free and make it a subscriber only thingy.
Brrr... Not something I was hoping to write but since I'm doing this for a living, I need to make due since rent is coming around every month (and they are expensive here in my country).

I'm staying till I get kicked off paypal. Then I might just jump over to subscribestar like a few of the other content creators I follow have.

2024-04-07 10:14:44 +0000 UTCThis might explain a lot. Every month it's a bit of a roulette who stays and who doesn't. There's always a bit of drop off at the end of the month. It's likely people unsubbed knowing the future is grim when it comes to paypal.

2024-04-06 19:10:58 +0000 UTCThere's no problem quiting or subscribing at any given times. It's actually quite common and I've seen many names come and go often. However, the drop off at the end of the month is usually a bit predictable. Let's say 5% usually drops off. This happens every month and it's considered 'part of the job'. Past two months was different however seeing how the drop was almost at around 25%. It creates uncertainty: Is it the content? Am I doing something wrong? are questions that come to my mind when experiencing it. I'm not much of a foot fetish artist indeed... I mean I don't mind some tickling or any bondage where the feet are exposed but foot fetish specifically has never been a thing. About your second point: I barely upload sketches since I'm uncertain about my quality. every once in a while I drop a bunch of them but reading this does make me aware that a more constant flow of at least 'some' content might be worth considering. Maybe I should hand out more sketches...

When it comes to me, I do admit I've joined and quit your membership in the past few times already. What caused me to sign up, was actually the Lyana story (the very 1st one). Even though you do post it on DeviantArt, I enjoyed it enough to decide I want to have the early access and to actually show my support. I already mentioned multiple times that my thing is foot fetish. And surprisingly you have pretty much none of it in your creations. The story of Lyana though, was entertaing enough to me to just ignore that fact. Simplified version of what matters to me personally: 1. Good story that lasts for at least few segments - that hasn't been the issue I enjoy your storytelling. 2. Frequent posts - that is sometimes the issue, and I understand it's hard work and it takes time, but human nature wins. We always want more lol. 3. Price - no issue here.
