Added 2023-05-27 13:27:16 +0000 UTCI fumbled way too much with this image but I like the end result nonetheless. The story was done several days ago already and after re-reading it I decided to not add any more pages because I didn't want to fall into a repeating pattern (considering the previous two chapters there was a lot said and done already and I wasn't sure if it would become boring or not. Hence I kept the pacing fast and the story short).

Usually I do the image first and as I work on it, the story sort of unfolds in my head by itself. This was one of the few times I actually had the story already before starting on the image. I just struggled to get the lighting/shading in a position where I was happy with it. Originally I wanted way more contrast between light and dark to really give some kind of "this is the end! muhahahaha!" feeling but with one character standing inside a lighted pod already, it became a difficult task somehow and in the end I settled with something that wasn't planned :P
