Exit the Dragon (Western & Astral Dragon Comics)

First comic deepens the lore of the different dragons of the world. If Exit would have a western counterpart (Brexit the Dragon lol) I imagine she would be a knight and wield a sword. Perhaps something I'll draw in the future.
Second comic isn't actually a flashback, and is more what could be in the "modern timeline" of Exit. It is based on a friend suggestion who wanted to see BIG Exodus. As a person who takes great attention to canon thought "how can I make that work?", so a heartwarming reunion with master who has passed on came to mind.
Song accompanying the scene which was playing when I was drawing the piece. Apparently from more recent Pokemon movie.
But of course beautiful scene has to be followed by a funny comic. The punchline is still in the works but the idea that there's Star Wars in Exit the Dragon's universe is pretty funny.
Then lastly there are some notes on Master Exodus herself.
That's all, just one more of these flashback comics and I'll be done. After this I should draw more of Exit and Escape as grownups.

I try to draw the works so that each of them stays true to the "vision" I have for Exit. And you are correct, Exodus would die at some point, possibly by General Departure. The details are a bit foggy, but that leaves some room for imagination (and future).

2025-01-21 09:27:23 +0000 UTCI know continuity is probably very loose and not the focus of this, but I recall another work of yours where Exodus was fighting while it looked like the monastery/dojo was under attack. Could that narratively connect to her appearance here as a Force ghost, assuming she perishes there saving Exit (and Escape) from whatever threat it was? Another great job with these comics, thank you Setz!
