I love your content so much because you’re the only guy I’ve found that really likes to pay attention to the individual players.

On Kissinger?

I've been thinking of doing that too. Unfortunately, so many of the sources for the Israeli video are only available as physical media that they don't really lend themselves well to a research stream. So I'm hoping to do it for the next video game video.

Excellent video! I have no comments on it at the moment. But I left a comment on the unlisted video saying that I'd love to see a recording, perhaps unedited, of you doing research (maybe with some commentary sprinkled in)

Really good. I would love to hear a bit more about Reagan’s lack of grand strategy, triangulation and backstabbing you allude to. That psycho Niall Ferg finally made a video! Most insufferable big head at the Hoover institution by far. Thanks for the great work Sarcasmo! I haven’t heard this take anywhere else.

Ok I really really like what you did with the video! The thing I have been thinking about is how you frame Kissinger's idea of credibility... since weirdly enough I *somewhat* agree with the idea that credibility is critically important for national security, even if it is an oversimplification of prestige in some cases. Really it's about the alliances and making sure that your allies believe that you are really worthy of their time... and lives! Imo, Kissenger's mistake was that he was kind of pandering to the hawks in the alliance who were already somewhat unhinged, perhaps because he feared what would happen if NATO broke up? Idk, I am talking out of my butt here. My larger point is that I don't think Kissinger's obession with credibility alone can explain why Kissenger did things like bombing Cambodia, but maybe you have more evidence of that than I do!

Alex The Apologetic (that his name is too long)

Good video. I noticed that during the Iran hostage crisis it cycles quickly from day 7 to 267 then back to 142 for the longer shots
