Celestial Roulette World Building (Cyberpunk)

I've decided against DxD because I've just started Cursed (I know I have a lot of Worm fics, but it's a world with a clear end and one that I personally find easy to write)

Because of time crunch the north oak area in the hills of night city was supposed to be a big district for the upper class with mansions, high end apartments, retail and facility’s and not just a couple of mansions and a bunch of empty space it was supposed to be a Beverly Hills type of place. But CDPR had no time to do it and cut it, down massively if you look at the pre-release version of the plan for night city you can see how the area was supposed to look like. But well every other district will have to be expanded as well by several times compared to the game map. Well good luck and am looking forward to the fic.

Could do a cyberpunk into demonic invasion (could be any world with that concept like WoW or Doom), or dungeon invasion like those Korean novels. Though I think part of the appeal is first contact with humans when they are divergent from most races. Or when they can really put up a fight. All I am saying is that for Worm and Cyberpunk to work you would need to drastically alter one or the other. Since most capes are deathly allergic to bullets. And with gun vending machines powers unless really strong or tinkers becomes gimmicks. And I don’t see corpos name putting hefty bounties on any tinker. Dead or alive, doesn’t matter. As long as they aren’t potentially fucking over profit margins or compromising cybersecurity. Actually Bioshock might be an interesting crossover. Anyway up to you what you decide.

2024-04-28 06:58:40 +0000 UTCYou could make it a cyberpunk mass effect world. Or another space one. I don’t think Worm is the best with cyberpunk since powers would be a gimmick. Because a lot of cyberware is just better than peoples powers in Worm. So other than the high end heroes the rest would be killed off or their powers are just a gimmick. And you bet your ass corpo’s will experiment the fuck out of perahumans. There is a limit to how much Cauldron would be able to change while keeping it a corpo hellscape. By making it a space related world linked to cyberpunk it allows you to start with the cyberpunk experience then expand. Combining Cyberpunk and Worm seems a lot like the Tinker story but with some differences. Only Cyberpunk would probably be more interesting than a worm fusion.
