im abit late but heres some context - Yhis was for Diablo 4 - extremely popular franchise and extremely anticipated! The main story is about the return of Lilith , those "rose petals" falling at the end were actually petals of blood. Halsey i think promoted some music for game. this music video in terms of it being dark - its tame compared to the cut scenes in the game !!XD so they played it safe. in the end Halsey is bowing down to Lilith ( Mother) in your spare time if you get the chance if you watch the Office trailer for Diablo 4 - it will make AWHOLE lot more sense
