For Apple/IOS Users that use the Patreon app
Added 2025-05-31 17:32:28 +0000 UTCA reminder that a month or so back Apple set up new payment systems through the Patreon App on IOS devices.
It charges YOU an extra 30% for all payments made through the app that goes only to apple AND they hold the payment for 75 days.
It's pretty simple to get around this however and you can continue to use the app if you like for notifications etc; just make any and all payments through your browser while logged onto the Patreon website instead of paying through the app.
