Added 2025-08-26 19:02:23 +0000 UTCHey everybody! We hit our sub goal on Twitch (thank you), so we created a bonus episode of New Show Plus. Instead of reviving a rejected idea, we made a natural follow-up to one of our most popular series with the debut of House Hunter Wilds! If you want to see Sarah, Leo, and Ben get away from Zillow and into the real world to explore a Minneapolis mansion from 1887, here you go! - https://youtu.be/vYucgJpT0vs
This week for community questions on the podcast, we'll have Ben Hanson, Jacob Geller, Janet Garcia, and Ana Diaz. It's your turn to make the show better by leaving a question, news story, BetterQuest goal, or anything else for us to read on the show as a comment below! We’ll choose our favorite and iam8bit will ship out the great prize below for the winner! We'll stop pulling questions around 8am Central on Wednesday.
On this week’s episode we’ll be talking about...
Metal Gear Solid Delta
Gamescom Highlights
Resident Evil Requiem
Phantom Blade Zero
Denshattack
Pokemon Legends Z-A
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Green Again
Everybody at the Backstage Pass tier can watch us record the show live on Wednesday at 1pm Central, with an exclusive pre and post show. The unedited archive will be available to view after the fact. Do any of you have a genre that you love, but can burn out on so fast that when a hugely anticipated game in said genre is due for release, you just don't play the genre at all until that one game drops? Personally, Metroidvanias, I absolutely adore them, but usually play them non stop until genre burnout kicks in and then can't touch them for years. As a result, the Silksong wait has been a brutal, cause I haven't even dared play Metroid Dread, let alone Blasphemous, Ori, Nine Sols and more, because when everyone assumed Silksong could've shadow dropped at any time, I just couldn't risk being in Metroidvania burnout mode.

2025-09-01 19:29:20 +0000 UTCHey Cohorts! Last week you debated over who the cutest villain is. I’d like to ask, who do you think is the cutest *companion* character in a video game? For me it’s Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite. I feel like she’s the cutest because she was so sheltered, and throughout the game her reactions to seeing new things for the first time was really fun to watch. It was a welcome break from an otherwise brutal game.
