Join The Deepest Dive On Onimusha: Warlords!
Added 2025-01-15 19:15:01 +0000 UTCHot off the announcement that Capcom is reviving the series, for the next Deepest Dive we're going back to 2001 and playing the first Onimusha game! The samurai-focused action/adventure game takes a lot of inspiration from the Resident Evil Series, so dive in and let's unpack this thing together. This will be a two-part game club and we need your comments on Patreon here to help fuel the discussions. The game is available on all systems thanks to the 2019 remaster, but you're welcome to play the original PS2 game as well. MinnMax's Ben Hanson, Kelsey Lewin, Jacob Geller, and Kyle Hilliard will be joined by Easy Allies' Michael Huber for the discussions.
We're collecting your comments on the first half of the game (stop when you see a big green force field) here on Patreon on Friday, 1/24/25. It's apparently not a very long game.
The discussion will be airing on YouTube and in the bonus podcast feed for $5 supporters on 1/27. We'll be completing the game the following week and looking for your final thoughts on February 1st.

I love those three dufuses that lock you in with the monsters in the beginning. A lit of the NPCs feel like comic relief and I love them
