Minnesota Folks, Join Our Community Meetup At Utepils Brewing On Friday, November 22nd

Hey everybody! MinnMax is hosting a community meetup in Minneapolis at Utepils Brewing on Friday, November 22nd at 7pm and we'd love to have local folks swing by. You don't need to be a Patreon supporter to join, feel free to bring a friend. We'll have a couple of tables reserved, and there will also be a fire outside if you're feeling brave. Utepils has been generously supplying the MinnMax Studio with beer for a while now, and we held our third anniversary meetup there as well. There will be a food truck (Hana Bistro, Chinese food) and live music at Utepils until 8pm.

This isn't the "Big" community meetup that was supposed to take place in Asheville, the plan is still to rally folks to Asheville in 2025. But if you're in the Minneapolis area and want to say hello and talk about games, this is a great opportunity for you. Local folks like myself (Ben Hanson), Sarah Podzorski, and Leo Vader will be there AND Jacob Geller and Haley MacLean will also be in town.

Jacob and Haley will be in town because the following day (Saturday, November 23rd from 3pm-2am) will be our big charity stream from the MinnMax Studio. We'll be raising money for a Minnesota-focused nonprofit through the larger charity drive called Give To The Max. We'll be sharing a lot more details in the near future, but for now plan on fun, games, and a ton of great charity auctions. It'll be a shorter charity stream this year, but we'll have several "Power Hour" auction blocks. The Give To The Max charity stream will be happening on MinnMax's YouTube channel.

Oh, while we have you here, we announced on The MinnMax Show today we're debuting a new show here at MinnMax this Friday. We've heard your requests, so we're kicking off a monthly show where we play new games together. Leo is hosting it. It's sponsored by Nvidia, so Leo will be be playing these games on PC and cranking up all of the graphics settings and fancy bells and whistles - hence the show is called Max Settings.
