I only remember hearing about it back in the day, so I don’t think he ended up making the full translation patch, but the proof of concept for Tomato Adventure’s translation patch was actually done by Tomato/Clyde Mandelin, the same guy who made the MOTHER 3 fan translation. This guy is a beast of video game translation and it’s cool to see his work still reaching people.
