Hello Minnimum Maxers, Brandon, from Manteno, Illinois here. First time, pretty long time. Recently, I watched a wonderfully convincing video going into detail as to how motion and gyro aiming more closely bridges the gap between analog sticks and mouse controls. In situations where it's done well, I find them to be faster, more accurate and in a lot of situations, more comfortable. (ex. Splatoon 2, Zelda BOTW). Do you guys have any opinions on gyro aiming as a whole? Do you find it to be something that deserves inclusion or more of a gimmick? Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for making Thursdays my favorite day of the week. Morning MinnMaxers, When visiting family and friends over the holidays, I got a lot of weird looks and light hearted jokes about being in my 30s and still playing video games. It seems like a lot of people still view video games as a waste of time but have no problem binge watching a TV show for 8 hours. I thought games were mainstream media. Are they still a subculture? Is it purely a generational thing? Anyone else encounter this over the holidays?

Hey MinnMaxers, Last year one of my new year's resolutions was to branch out and try to find some new hobbies. I wound up getting into DnD and Wrestling which has been nice to have other interests so I don't get burnt out on Video Games. If you were to do the same and tried branching out, what are some hobbies and activities that would try?

What's up MinnMaxers. I've been curious, given that you live in the State of Hockey, if any of you are big hockey fans, or Wild fans in particular? I'm a Blues fan, but I travel once a year to St. Paul for a winemakers conference and I've taken in a couple of Wild games. The fans were great and the experience was among the best I've had at NHL rinks.

Good day to you all. I live in down state Illinois, but the company I work for has locations all over the world including Minneapolis. I heard this morning the temperature was -4 there so I hope that basement is being kept warm by the robust fire in the background. Now on to my topic. One of my favorite games of the current generation was Techland's Dying Light. I'm really looking forward to this year's sequel. I haven't heard much about Dying Light 2 since the E3 demo. What are your thoughts on the Dying Light franchise? Are any of you excited about it coming out this year?

I've seen several games journalists and commentators saying Cyberpunk 2077 is one of their most anticipated games of 2020. While I really enjoy the genre and thought the demo shown last year was compelling, I cannot in good conscience buy the game given CD Projekt Red's very poor labor practices. It's actually a little frustrating to hear the breathless coverage of Cyberpunk 2077 from outlets while ignoring the conditions workers went through to produce the game. What is the view of y'all about the situation? Also, what circumstances around a games development would cause you to avoid playing it, regardless of the quality of the title?

Gearbox Publishing announced their upcoming PS5 game at the VGAs, and for some dumb reason they decided to refer to it as a "looter-slasher" which is probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard. As such I present this petition to formally rename that genre as "sworderlands" in honor of Gearbox's other large loot-based franchise. All those in favor say "aye". Those opposed are not allowed to vote.
