Hey guys! Is there a game you are always nostalgic for at a certain time of year? For me I always go back and play New Super Mario Bros during the winter. It brings back old memories of ski trips with my family where we spent most of our time gaming in a cabin. Keep up the sweet content! :)
2019-11-13 11:52:19 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Great stuff coming out of this channel. I went to Jacob Geller’s channel after I saw your interview with him. I enjoyed his discussions of architecture in Mirror’s Edge and of faith in SOTC. But...and I say this as a 33 year old man. I was crying by the end of his Mario Galaxy vid. He’s clearly a genius when it comes to video essays. But at GI, he was nothing but a name on a web page. Are there ways that independent providers and interviewers can open up insights into creativity that bigger companies either won’t or can’t?

2019-11-11 23:42:17 +0000 UTCNick Wright from Moberly MO here! (that's Missouri!) What's your favorite franchise that got left behind. for me it is "Eternal Darkness". the way it jacked with the player was absolutely amazing and i thought the idea of revisiting the same locations throughout the centuries was really novel as well. i'm still holding out on a PS5 reboot!!!

2019-11-11 15:53:38 +0000 UTCBen! You were saying that you want to keep the podcast fun and positive. I’m all for the jolly vibes (to use EA terms) but what do you mean exactly by it? I hope you guys remain critical and also discuss the darker sides of the industry like crunch etc. Cheers! Piet from Rotterdam, Netherlands

2019-11-09 08:37:23 +0000 UTCHowdy fellas! I just finished up Link's Awakening a couple days ago, and what a jolly little game! However, this got me thinking about the future of 2D Zeldas. Do you think they will ever do an origianl 2D Zelda again or just use that game style for remastering the classics? The oracle games are a common request among fans so I could see that happening but I hope to see an original 2D game because A Link Between Worlds was exceptional. I would love to hear what you guys think! Happy for your guys' successful launch! Love & Respect! -Beeks from Grand Rapids, Michigan

2019-11-07 12:54:49 +0000 UTCHey Ben and the 2 N crew! What's the most interesting feature of a game that you saw in a preview build, but was cut before the game released?
2019-11-07 05:15:31 +0000 UTCHah. Nitch always gives me a chuckle. Nitchy is a new one to me. I didnt catch that one last week.

2019-11-07 04:04:44 +0000 UTCHaha, I noticed Brian Shea pronouncing it "Nitchy" on the Game Informer Show last week!

2019-11-07 02:33:01 +0000 UTCWhat is a genre or game you will never play, but love to watch being played? Mine is probably the Metal Gear series, they are totally a hoot to watch, but I doubt I'll ever go back and play them.

2019-11-07 02:31:31 +0000 UTCQuick query. Most games have review embargoes but is there an embargo on when you are allowed to disclose the embargo date? Sometimes we hear that a review will be available from a specific date and time but other times there is radio silence until the review is up. Is this simply because a review copy hasn't been received until the last minute or is there more to it?

2019-11-07 02:31:19 +0000 UTCHey Ho There MinnMax Crew! So I was recently thinking about the new Final Fantasy VII Remake and how it was going to come out in different parts. Immediately, it made the think of the DotHack series! It was an action RPG series set in a simulated virtual-MMORPG where you played the game trying to resolve glitches that ended up harming the people playing the game. This series was one of my first experiences where you could carry over save data from game to game, kinda like how you could carry your commander Shepard through the Mass Effect Series (only the series didn't go through crazy changes, so items and levels were brought over too!). I thought it was super impressive that games could reach through time and take progress and characters that I had made into the next iteration of the series! So I wonder if the new FInal Fantasy VII will work similarly? It would really be nice if the party that I worked to create wouldn't just reset with new item, levels, skills, etc. What do you guys think? Would you want those things to carry over? Or whenever part II rolls around in 2030, would you want a fresh party? - Athan-Jeed (AJ) Bandoy from Bensalem, PA

2019-11-07 00:20:46 +0000 UTCHey Guys. Congratulations on launching MinnMax and getting some of the best people in the industry to work here. my question is: how do you think the next gen consoles will differ from each other? will it be services, game genres, or just the UI? - Haider Kuwait
2019-11-06 22:18:26 +0000 UTCHey guys. Have you had any experience with games that are so close to what you think would be the perfect game for you, but that it falls a disappointingly short distance away from it? Recently for me that game was pokemon let’s go. That game has just about anything a nostalgia hound like me could want from a pokemon game (first gen pokemon exclusively, you can battle red, blue, and green, etc2) but the pokemon go influence really rubbed me the wrong way. That pokemon game, more than any other, made me sad because of how close it was to being a game tailored especially for me. Hope the question was clear enough for You guys. -Christopher from Jakarta, Indonesia-
2019-11-06 19:37:34 +0000 UTCHello people. I'm so excited for MinnMax. Like Constantly. Anyway I noticed advertising for Death Stranding the at it was 'from the creator of metal gear solid'. This seems a bit redundant to me because if you're a fan of Metal gear solid you probably already know one or both of two things. The creator is Hideo Kojima and what he's known for. I don't think this needs explaining. I'm I thinking too hard on it? Or are fans of metal gear solid not as niche as I think. Aldo wondering how you're all going to pronounce niche so hoping you read this out loud. Best wishes all.
