I think Shiny Bug might be a "Bug Under a Microscope" thing, like she is constantly scrutinized and examined... also if the holder tilts the magnifying glass a certain way to catch the sunlight they can hurt the bug. Just another angle on the impact of fame. 100% agree re the Super Bowl and Vegas (ewww Vegas, why?). And LOVE that you re-read the poem from TTPD, it makes so much sense now and man, she is the best poet EVER. She is going to go down in history not just for her music, and tours, and being a perfect person... she is going to be known as the poet of our lifetimes. Her poetry will be studied and admired long after she and we are gone. A true legacy.

2025-08-27 07:19:47 +0000 UTCAlso have yall fathomed that one interview where she comments “how far ahead is too far to hint at something” and she commented/added “is three years too far ahead” so honestly midnights example Bejeweled could’ve been foreshadowing the life of a show girl “idea”. But TTPD was so sudden and unexpected, because of all her poetry, hence why the tour was extended to she could add it to the set list. Cause TTPD was a last minute release (to Taylor anyway cause we know she plans so far ahead). Idk just some thoughts 🍌🥽

2025-08-25 21:10:01 +0000 UTCOn the Max Martin mentor conversation I totally agree with Bonnie that I don’t think that was the case in the sense of the making of the music they did together because we all know Taylor writes mosts of her music alone and I don’t think it’s any different in those songs with Max, but I do believe she trully saw him as a mentor in the sense that he was much more experienced than her at that time and literally had done the biggest pop hits since the 90’s when Taylor was just a baby so probably for her he felt like a Mentor because she admired him so much ♥️ maybe she was talking more of the feeling of working with Max and not so much the actual dinamic

2025-08-25 13:11:23 +0000 UTCI could see Taylor not doing the Super Bowl because they don’t pay the artist. They believe that the exposure is payment enough and I know Taylor is very against that. I could see her holding out performing until they agree to pay for the artist
