I did this sketch as a warmup the other morning after pulling up an old file from ages ago when I'd tried to help my buddy out with the Dreaded Low-Angle Face Shot(TM), then redrew a couple of years ago to try my hand at this tough shot again (hi Arif)
I feel like this perspective has lost most of its mystique for me and, while I'm sure if I do this again in a year or two I'll have some new techniques to improve even more, I thought it might be helpful to share how I break down doing low-angle perspective on a character!
At the end of the day... we're all just a bunch of tubes with lines indicating angle, visually (spiritually)

My 2013 drawing, my friend's original 2013 drawing, my 2016 pass, and my pass from the other day! This is formatted incredibly oddly but blame Past Jenn XD

Ps. I'd love to see if anyone tries their hand at drawing a character at this angle! I'm not 100% at this moment if you can put images in comments on Patreon but if you can, it'd be awesome to see people's exercises ^.^
