Added 2020-12-30 14:31:45 +0000 UTCWarmup drawing at the specific request of my art director (aka my toddler nephew). Jake absolutely adores Bear to the point that most of the time I'm not Aunt Jenn but Auntie Bear, which honestly I'm okay with XD
When my sister showed this to Jake, his caption for what Bear is saying in the picture was: "You're doing a good job, Auntie Jem, I'll show you how dogs look. I'll need you to help me hold my pencil. I went to dog art school."
So if anyone was concerned about my son's teaching credentials, don't worry, he went to dog art school.

Bear is going to be 5 this summer! I can't believe how fast the time has flown, even though looking back, a lot of stuff/change has happened in our family's life. He's definitely still got that doofy pup energy but it's more deliberate, like when he was little he was a baby, but now he chooses to be Baby XD

2020-12-30 18:40:31 +0000 UTCYay for big friendly puppers! I got visited by my sister's Labrador retriever over these holidays; Lucy is about... 5 years old now? Still somewhat behaving like a big giant puppy, but I'm starting to notice her mellow out. A delight either way.
