I originally started this drawing back at the end of November but wasted a bunch of time on an idea that wasn't working for me but was still really wanting to make it into something... Got around to doing this version a couple of days ago. Been a bit of a rough month with health stuff and brain juices in flux.
I like how this one came out because I was originally thinking of doing a composition that was mostly red or mostly red+black but ended up really liking just leaving this one with a lot of light, neutral space? I know I tend to default to darker palettes for my creepy stuff but it's always a good practice to stretch those horror muscles in different directions sometimes.
Also featuring my rarely seen handwriting-done-via-tablet! This is very neat for me in this medium so I think that says something.
(will I actually post something seasonal before the 25th?? stay tuned because heck if I know either XD)
