Alright, go ahead, get all your Wicker Man, "NOT THE BEES" references out of your system, I realize that this drawing will inevitable trigger an immense compulsion to say it so now's your chance.

Did you do it? Okay, cool.

I started this one back in September when it was slightly more seasonally-appropriate but had to put it down for a bit, so now it's an October post instead :D

I initially wanted to just do a creepy vintage beekeeper concept and not to say I didn't manage that, but as the drawing progressed, it kinda felt more like she was some pagan nature entity and just a generally cool lady. Was fun doing something a bit more colourful in this theme compared to my usual stuff, feels very pastoral to me ^.^
