I agree, the IMBD rating at this point is pretty useless if taken seriously. However I like looking at it though. SonΒ΄t know what it is but IΒ΄m always curious about it (until I see it) but I wouldnΒ΄t want to miss out on it either :D Perfect quotes by the way. I always love reading them, because they bring me right back into the episode, and give me a really good feeling. :) Thanks :)

Yes I completely agree with all of you. A fantastic episode. Creepy and intriguing. What more do we want? :D

"It does have an element of risk.", "How big an element?", "Well, yeah, pretty big.", The Doctor and Dan, "Village of the Angels" This is a good episode - I've given up on IMDB to let me know what people think in this era. FYI: one of the fan web sites rated it as 8.2 which is quite high for that site. For comparison, "The Day of the Doctor" and "Heaven Sent" each only got a rating of 8.8. "Please, stop using my voice. It's a very clever trick, but most impolite without permission.", Jericho, "Village of the Angels" Professor Jericho is played by Kevin McNally who had a part in a Classic Who story - actually the worst Classic Who story ever (as voted by Doctor Who Magazine readers) and an IMDB average rating of 5.3 (FYI: the same fan site above gave it a 3.3). It wasn't Kevin's acting that brought the rating down of that Classic Who story - other actors and the plot did that. Kevin's role was a space pilot who kept waving his space blaster around - you know the type. He was pretty young when he played that role, but another young actor was also considered for that part - you may have heard of him: Peter Capaldi. "Were you in there all the time?", Gerald, "Village of the Angels" It's nice when we're sufficiently back in time that people mistake the TARDIS for a real police box. And it's fun that the old man tries to actually use the phone. "Now, reverse the polarity of the neutron flow. Might give you a little quantum headache.", The Doctor, "Village of the Angels" Oh, a famous Classic Who quote callback (from the third Doctor). Not the first time it has been used of course - Yaz even asked if the Doctor could to "reverse the polarity" in "It Takes You Away" and Clara actually did it to change the neural block device in "Hell Bent". But, the last complete version of the quote (with the "neutron flow" part) was earlier that season in "The Girl Who Died". "When I say run, run.", The Doctor, "Village of the Angels" And another Classic Who quote callback - this time a second Doctor quote. "Yeah, well, I'm pretty good at stopping the unstoppable.", The Doctor, "Village of the Angels"

Yes I agree with the other commenters that this is a really good Jodie episode and I love professor Jericho. Very creepy, reminds a little bit of Hide, the Matt Smith episode from series 7 part 2 . It’s a shame that this series was cut down because of Covid 19 restrictions I feel some parts of the story were not fleshed out properly, but this is great. Stand out moment for me was when you realise that the odd woman wandering around the village is grown up Peggy, who then meets her younger self across the two time portals. Loved that.
