IT: WELCOME TO DERRY [1x1] | EXTENDED WATCH

OK! COMING WITH THE SAUCE I SEEEEEE. Andy Muschietti has gotten a bad rep ever since THE FLASH. And tbh I never saw The Flash. BUT I think both IT movies were done wonderfully (as I explain in this reaction, I think the issues with IT 2 is story related more than it is direction or anything like that. The mini series struggled with the second half just as much as the movies lol) Regardless I've been looking forward to this and it does NOT disappoint. Can't wait for next week! <3

Imagine a time when people took pride and wanted to look professional, no matter how menial their job.

Off topic @bridgeco but the ST final trailer and the Scream 7 trailer dropped today! Reactions??

Totally agree; the ending of It is the problem. This series is off to a banger start. Just hoping that I don’t get wrapped up in forgetting it’s a prequel and forget by nature won’t have a happy ending.

I need to know where cody got those trousers

Troy Roberts

No way those kids are gone. It’s only episode one lol

I trusted that the family in the car was normal, until the liver came out, only insane people eat liver.

Those child actors killed it (no pun intended) The definitely got a bright future ahead of them. I saw a comment on a YouTube video that said, no one will believe the girl who was in the psychiatric ward and the black girl about what happened and I low key think that might be where they're going with the story. Having those two girls team up for the rest of the series. It caught me off guard because it seemed like we had our team there they built up their characters and made them feel like real people, sometimes with shows I noticed if a character is about to die or be killed off, they halfway write them but not in this instance. But yeah, glad ya'll enjoyed it I've been seeing 50/50 response on other reactors. I personally really liked it

Side note: the opening and closing scenes were terrifyingly awesome

There’s one scene that was just absolutely dreadful and took me out of the whole show: The Air Force guy sleeping that gets held at gun point by 3 masked men in black gear wanting classified information. His friend comes to help fight them off but…. for the 3 masked men to just jog off down the hallway on a secured military base while our 2 military trained men, relax, sit on the bed 5 seconds later and have a chuckle about it. Just an abysmal scene, if you’re going to add military aspects to your film or series, it should be semi serious.

I really liked the conspiracy theory kid he was funny and interesting everytime he came on screen

Dominic

THAT WAS INSANE. I did not expect that ending

Jonathan Blevins

Phil isn't actually a relation to Bill, the character intentionally has some of the same characteristics and tropes as Bill, but not actually a relation. Teddy was Stanley's uncle, and Leroy is Mike's grandfather.

Summer Devin

It’s shocking it killed all the kids. Phil was the Grandfather of Bill Denbourgh from the movies, and Teddy was Stanley Uris’s Grandfather I think. Leroy Hanlon at the military base is obviously related to Mike Hanlon.
