I had hoped to get more ATTACK ON TITAN today or tomorrow but we're currently without a babysitter for a few days so with Daemon as you know its hard. I hope to get a couple AoT videos done by Monday or so tho 😭 but PEACEMAKER tonight/tomorrow , and next week will be A HAUNTED HOUSE and finally SINNERS! <3 oh and THE PENGUIN on YouTube but yall already got that here 😂

2025-09-16 11:46:24 +0000 UTCThe director said he just liked it being there because it’s open to interpretation. Which feels like a lame excuse to me considering how the rest of the movie plays out. Think he did it more for the “it looks cool” (it doesn’t) rather than actual story telling

Also the line that only some of the kids started speaking again…life goes on and counselors that’s what they do when school shootings happens

Overall it was a amazing movie the POV's of the characters leading up was excellent. From Barbarian to Weapons I can't wait for Zach Cregger's next movie.

2025-09-11 21:25:48 +0000 UTCAh, I went and saw this in theatres (my first time in a cinema in a while) and I thought it disappointed. I feel like they didn't capitalize enough on the unique horror elements and the end wasn't satisfying at all. People in my theatre were laughing and that's just the last way you want to leave a horror film. And the overlapping story-telling, the character vignettes, were an interesting approach but it sort of resulted in a soft launch of the "reveal" which took away a lot of its power. Plus, I got the impression it was trying to say something more profound metaphorically...I mean, it was called "weapon" and there was that random dream with the ak47 in the sky...but that never went anywhere. It just felt like a film that was edited in post around a plot or story that they no longer wanted to include. Anyway, to each their own for sure. I'm glad you guys liked it. It was just disappointing to me. I have high hopes for The Long Walk and even the Conjuring 5 so hopefully we still have some good horror coming up this year. :)

That idea of moving/ running with deliberate intention. I’m also obsessed with readings of this story. It’s about addiction. It’s about child abuse. It’s about police brutality. It’s about systemic blindness and oppression. It’s about parasites. It’s about school shootings. It’s about witchcraft. It’s about the dangers we invite into our homes and then threaten all we hold dear. Fuck me I love this movie.
