THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PT 2 (2015) | EXTENDED REACTION

AND FOR HER LAST TRICK! This movie was peak insanity. The last 30 minutes were just a shocking changeup. Bridgette was just losing it by the end 😭 but it was a damn epic conclusion to the story. Edit will likely be a little bit as we watch Attack on Titan the next couple days! <3

Super late to this, but they're also Jennifer Lawrence's nephews!

Bridget and Cody I need you to know for background, Their kids at the epilog scene are named Willow and Rye. So beautiful 😍

dude, it's been so long since i read the books/watched this one. i had only read and seen it once. i honestly forgot almost everything except for the big stuff and the main themes. but holy crap, i forgot how devastating the scene is with prim's cat. i remember that when i read it, that it was the first book i read that ever made me cry that much

The movies are so good but the books?? don't even joke lad, they might have, what i feel, are some weak spots but they make up for it in just how immersive they are. This series radicalized a 14 year old me which the late great Donald Sutherland stated is what he wanted when he took the role of Snow: to radicalize the youth and force them to be politically aware of their world. Its been such a pleasure to go back to Panem with you two!

Did y’all see they’re trying to make a real Hunger Games with immigrants for citizenship 🤦🏽‍♀️

It would be nice to hear how Bridgette compares the books to movies as she finishes them

Bridget, PLEASE make a book review video for each book! Even if it's just a 10 minute one, I would really love to hear your thoughts! And maybe you could tell Cody about your favorite parts that wasn't in the movies or read him some good passages. I really hope you see this 😊😊😊

I would very much like to see Bridget's review of the books when she finishes, to compare with the films. The changes made work for the medium of film, but there is much more nuance in the books that I think it would be neat to hear Bridget explain and discuss with Cody. Branching out a bit to do a book series review might be good too, just in general.

If you want a series and a movie that continues this type of story, I can not recommend Andor enough. Forget that it’s a part of the Star Wars universe, it’s amazing on its own.

these last two are dark as hell but theyre actually so toned down compared to the books. I remember reading mockingjay in 6th grade and being borderline catatonic from how depressed i was by the end. amazing movie, still makes me cry every time
