Bridgette was just losing it by the end 😭 but it was a damn epic conclusion to the story. Edit will likely be a little bit as we watch Attack on Titan the next couple days! <3

2025-06-22 17:57:41 +0000 UTCdude, it's been so long since i read the books/watched this one. i had only read and seen it once. i honestly forgot almost everything except for the big stuff and the main themes. but holy crap, i forgot how devastating the scene is with prim's cat. i remember that when i read it, that it was the first book i read that ever made me cry that much

This series radicalized a 14 year old me which the late great Donald Sutherland stated is what he wanted when he took the role of Snow: to radicalize the youth and force them to be politically aware of their world. Its been such a pleasure to go back to Panem with you two!

The changes made work for the medium of film, but there is much more nuance in the books that I think it would be neat to hear Bridget explain and discuss with Cody. Branching out a bit to do a book series review might be good too, just in general.
