Im both excited to watch more and sad that we're going to be done watching this show in probably a week 😭 More Avatar, Final Destination and Peaky Blinders to come! (And we got How to Train Your Dragon 3 written down for next week for those who've been patiently waiting <3)

2024-08-30 19:05:34 +0000 UTCI used to mistake the tattoos to symbolize the avatar too when I was younger. I can see why. Sometimes aang would be like “I’m the avatar” then point to his arrow. Or a character would be like “look at those tattoos, he’s the avatar!” Even though it was just to show he was an airbender, and therefore the only one who can be the avatar right then.

Typically Avatars don't get the tattoos unless air is their native element and they grew up in air nomad culture. Aang mastered airbending before the monks told him he was the Avatar, that's why he has tattoos.
