2024-03-22 10:42:04 +0000 UTC𝑂ℎ 𝑤𝑜𝑤, that’s a fairly strong skill for anyone to have just in general, but that is 𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 potent for someone like Aria because she won’t even really need to be concerned about the drawbacks of having to get “danger close” in order to proc the curse in the first place. Now we just gotta answer two big questions: 1) Is there a set amount of time that the curse is active for before it’ll wear off and she won’t able to inflict permanent wounds until she applies the curse again? 2) What’s the range of effect for the curse, as in how much of the body around the initial application is cursed by the flames? Is it only the part that is in direct contact with the flames, is it the general body part where the flames were applied, or is it the full body entirely? That second question is particularly important, because if it 𝑤𝑎𝑠 the option where the entire body is affected at once, then that would make it a 𝑙𝑜𝑡 easier for Aria to more or less permanently cripple an opponent by damaging something like their tendons or their wings. Either way tho, I 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 like this new skill for Aria. Not just because it gives her a new option for dealing with all those monster stomachs that she keeps ending up inside of lol, but also because it’s a really neat way to lean into the whole “Death is inevitable, you may only delay her for a time” thing.
