The only reason most people hate her is she is portrayed as Ellieโs villain but likeโฆshe is a good character and her and Ellie have a lot of the same reasons for their actions. Both do horrible shit. But at least Abby tried to walk away in the end. Ellie lost everything because she couldnโt let it lie. Plus, Abby and Lev literally mirror Ellie and Joelโand Ellie almost killed Abby the same way Abby killed Joel, itโs just an endless cycle.
